Our love story is a "modern day miracle." On November 4, 2012, God revealed “her” to me through a vision while praising Him at church. In my vision, she walked toward me crying, calling me Mommy. I still stand in awe that I found her a few days later on an adoption site that my Spirit led me to. She was born in 2008 without parts of her arm, hand, fingers, and toes.
She was abandoned immediately after birth and left without a FAMILY. In May 2013, we would become a “forever family” and begin our journey of “faith, love, hope, and healing.” It is simple; we all just needed each other. Just three months after being home, she asked me, "Mommy did you see me crying in China?" I was in awe and replied that I did see her crying. She said that she was missing me. After six months home she presented me with “the most beautiful gift.” She had put a visual to our dreams of “being a family.” She handed me my gift and said, “Look Mommy…I was born in your heart.” She had drawn her heart inside of mine! At five years old, through all of her loss and grief, she found “our healing truth” and put our love to an inspiring piece of art! We are a perfectly created family! I recognize that her artwork and understanding is God inspired! It is for God’s Glory that her inspirational message be shared! By the way…we named her Gloria!
